DANCING On Ice’s Brendan Cole admitted he was “very glad” the final had been cancelled tonight after being hounded by ‘fix’ rumours.
The semi-final last week saw Strictly pro Brendan bag his spot in the grand finale alongside Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt and dancer Regan Gascoigne.

Brendan, 45, said on Instagram tonight: “Just one week away….
“Very glad for the extra week. Don’t want this to end.”
His partner, Vanessa Bauer, replied: “Can we have more extra weeks ”
It comes as fans claimed the ballroom dancer had been given an advantage in the ITV series by being the first celeb to take to the ice each week.

A theory circulated on Twitter claiming Brendan had been given a secret boost by producers by being allowed to skate first.
Meanwhile, others said the show was a fix because Brendan was a professional dancer.
One viewer raged: “He has been either first or last every week.

Connor Ball, 26, was voted off by the judges in the semi final with Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill, and Christopher Dean all agreeing to save Pussycat Doll Kimberly.
Olympic BMX racer Kye Whyte, 22, also left the competition in a brutal double dumping.
Kimberly, 40, and former Strictly Come Dancing professional Brendan, join fellow finalist Regan- who has also trained as a dancer – in a battle for the top prize.
