EX-STRICTLY dancer Brendan Cole has slammed the show for axing Nicola Adams despite her testing negative for Covid.
The 44-year-old made his feelings clear as he spoke out about professional dancer Katya Jones catching the virus.
Brendan Cole questioned Strictly’s decision to throw out the same-sex partnership[/caption]“I don’t really understand why Nicola can’t carry on through,” said Brendan on Good Morning Britain.
“If she gets a test and she’s not positive, she can carry on?
“It must be so devastating, I feel for them, I know it’s just an entertainment programme but you’re so heavily involved from the moment you sign up.
“To be let out of the competition without a reason, well a good reason, without being voted out is devastating.

“I’ve been there before, it’s a hard pill to swallow. I feel sorry for them!”
Brendan appeared on Strictly Come Dancing since its launch in 2004.
His previous celebrity dance partners include Kirsty Gallacher, Jo Wood, Kelly Brook, Anastacia and Lulu.
But in January 2018, Brendan was told he had been axed from the show.
