CELEBRITY SAS viewers say they’ve spotted ‘proof’ last night’s brutal sea trial was filmed twice – pointing out that the celebs swapped places.

The celebrities had to endure linking arms and lying in the sea with the waves splashing over the backs of their heads in another painful challenge.

But avid fans couldn’t help but spot the ‘editing errors’ over the task when the celebs were seen in different positions over the 25 minute slog filmed in the fierce location.

Some suggested they’d edited the footage on the Channel 4 show.

One viewer tweeted: “Must have been awful doing it twice…” sharing an image of former Strictly dancer Brendan Cole, boxer Tony Bellew and Paralympian Lauren Steadman lying in different positions in various shots.

Another fan commented: “So that walk into the water took 3 or 4 takes? Brendan, Lauren and the boxer bloke swapped around about 5 times. Fake.”

One viewer tweeted Brendan and asked: “What’s with the editing on the sea challenge?!! One minute it shows you next to Lauren then it shows you next to Tony?! How’s that work?”

Brendan Cole was the next to be ejected from the group, leaving the winning spot open to the other celebs.

The dancer was less than impressed about receiving his marching orders and promptly threw a paddy.

The show’s chief instructor Ant Middleton and his directing staff decided enough was enough and he was culled in Monday’s episode.

A C4 source said: “Brendan was absolutely fuming to get culled because he believed he would pass the course.

He thought it was a real kick in the balls after all the hard work he had put in across the week.

“For someone so competitive, it was tough to take — especially as he saw people staying who he thought he had matched, if not beaten, in terms of performance on the course.”

Asked after he was booted out whether the process had changed him, Brendan said: “It was an incredible experience and I have made some good friends out of it.

“I wouldn’t say it’s life-changing because I have done enough of these types of shows where you kind of understand what is going on at every point.”
